138 AVL Sensor Error MP4000

Description 

AVL Sensor Error 

• Occurs if the sensor is detected to be out of range, open or short circuit. 
• Indicates: 
• Sensor failure. 

Corrective Action 

• Using DATA menu evaluate sensor readings. 
• Check wiring to be correct and connected. 
• Check J1 plug is plugged and connected to controller. 
• Check voltage at J1 pin 1 to be 0.5 – 4.5 VDC. 
• Check supply voltage at J1 pin 3 (GND) to pin 2 to be approximately 12.6VDC. 
• Replace sensor.
