Failure Lock or short circuit of Condenser fan motor

Countermeasure

Condenser fan motor start failure

< Check > ( Refer to Page F-10, 19 )

Operate the condenser fan motor under the test mode and check if the propeller fan revolves. And also check the current with the LED, the LCD or a clamp meter.

< Action >

In case the current is out of the following range, replace the condenser fan motor.

• CPE52, 53, : approx. 0.1 – 1.2A ( at AC 440V )

• CPE14, 15, 15V, 16 : approx. 0.3 – 3.0A ( at AC 440V )
