720 Power module missing
Description No communication
Cause Indication of defective power module, lack of or improper connection
Trouble
shooting		 Possible causes:
  • Communication with power module SPM6 broken.
  • 12 V DC to the power module SPM6 not applied.
  • Defective power module SPM6.
  • X11 cable is defective.
  • Main controller defective.
Accompanied alarms:
  • AL 710, AL 711, AL 720 and one or more AL 9XX may also be active.
Trouble shooting:
  1. Verify that power module cable is mounted correctly (and is not damaged) according to wiring diagram inside the controller cabinet.
  2. Verify that plugs are properly connected.
  3. Verify that there are correct voltages on all 3 phases for the power module.
  4. Measure with a multimeter that there is a small DC signal on the connector PCB for power module-com.
a) If there is no signal: The main controller is defective. Replace the main controller.
b) If there is signal: The power module is defective and must be replaced.
Criteria Communication with controller not possible
