Failure Low refrigerant pressure sensor ( LPT ) failure

Defective Low refrigerant pressure sensor ( LPT )

< Check > ( Refer to Page F-18 )

Compare the sensor DC output voltage between 1(GRN) and 2(YEL) of CN23

and the pressure value ( the personal computer display, the LED, the LCD or a pressure gauge indication ).

Sensor DC output voltage (V) = { 0.00204 × Pressure (kPa) + 1 } ± 0.08

< CPE53, 15, 15V >

Sensor DC output voltage (V) = { 0.004079 × Pressure (kPa) + 1 } ± 0.08

< Action >

• Out of Range : Replace LPT.

• In case the pressure value displayed on the personal computer, the LED or the LCD deviates,

adjust the offset data ( Refer to Instruction Manual of Hand – held computer ).
