Failure Detected pressure shift failure of High
or Low refrigerant pressure sensor ( HPT or LPT )
Countermeasure
<< Cause –(1) >>
Opening failure of Electronic expansion valve ( EEV )
< Check > ( Refer to Page F-17 )
Check if vibration noises are head at an interval of approx. 1 – 2
sec
when EEV is opened and closed under the test mode.
(i) In case no noise is heard :
Disconnect the connector CN22 and check the resistance between
1(YEL) – 2(BLU) Pin,
3(BLK) – 4(WH) Pin.
(ii) In case noise is heard :
Check LPT-OFF with “ the Classification Society test ” under the
test mode and cancel
immediately the test by pressing ENTER key.
Next, Open EEV with “ the EEV test ” under the test mode and check
if the pressure rises or not.
< Action >
(i) Out of approx. 100 – 160 ohm range : Replace EEV.
(ii) In case the low pressure does not
rise : Replace EEV.
